When Dimple Met Rishi // Spoilery Book Review

So, I read When Dimple Met Rishi
This book has been on my TBR for months, but it's so popular, and it's so hyped that I've been putting it off for quite a while...
I was trying to decide what to pick up next, when I saw When Dimple Met Rishi on my shelf and decided to give it a go.
Now, I have A LOT of thoughts on this book. But I am going to try and organise them somewhat, so this blog post isn't a complete mess.
Let's just start with the characters... Dimple is obviously our main female protagonist. She's fiesty and strong-willed, and she lives to do only what she wants.  Rishi is our main male protagonist, traditional and kindhearted, he is determined to make his way in the world, but its deeply respectful of his family and Indian heritage.
I do what to point out here that I, of course, am white and was loosely raised Christian. I therefore do not have any experience dealing with the issues this book presents in terms of Dimple and Rishi dealing with their …

2020 Bookish Goals!

I'm taking 2020 as a chance to set some new bookish goals!
My first goal is to start making monthly TBRs and wrap up videos! I find them really interesting and helpful to keep track of what I'm reading every month. I lost the streak of uploading TBRs and wrap ups in 2019 but I definitely want to keep on track with them this year!
My second goal for 2020 is to work on my content in general. I'd like to incorperate some fashion related videos into my channel. I'm thinking some bookish look-books, and I have a few ideas backed up!
In terms of blogging, I'd like to post more book reviews here, as well as over on my YouTube channel. I like to be able to write about books, as well as film about them.
For reading in general, I'd like to focus on longer fantasy novels. Last year I read a few, but I'd like to stop feeling overwhelmed by super long fantasies! I have a few on my TBR at the minute, which you can see in my TBR Cart Tour which will be up on my channel soo…

Here are the top three books on my TBR this month:
The Fifth Season by N. K. Jemisin The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss

Little Women Inspired OOTD

So, I saw Little Women this week, and I am OBSESSED. After many shopping trips I finally caved and bought this skirt, which I have had my eye on for a while. I paired it with a simple turtleneck and my antique book locket, for this loosely Little Women Inspired look!
